This dua is found in a book called "Baqiyatus Salihat". It is narrated that once Imam Ali
saw a young man reciting long duas; Imam Ali
told him that just as much as long duas get answered short duas also receive acceptance from Allah. The man inquired how he would do such a dua, to which Imam
taught him the following:
الحمد لله علي كل نعمة
I praise Allah for all the bounties
واسأل الله من كل خير
And I ask for all the best
واعوذ بالله من كل شر
And I seek protection from all evil
واستغفر الله من كل ذنب
And I ask forgiveness of all sins
(sorry, I couldn't get the vowels in, but I think the words are quite straight forward so it shouldn't be too difficult to read, if not even the meaning is a good one to keep in mind, and to use when making dua)
